Chemical Peels

One of Dr. Max’s favorite skin therapies is the Chemical Peel. The TCA skin peel is available in two different concentrations and is an in-office procedure.

The lower concentration is for a “medium depth” peel that treats fine surface wrinkles, superficial blemishes, and irregular pigmentation. This peel can be used on the face and body and treatment usually takes 10-15 minutes with little to no recovery time. Multiple treatments may be needed. This is the perfect lunchtime procedure.

Higher concentration, “Deep” TCA peels are highly effective in the reduction of signs of photo-aging, heavier lines on the face, and deeper, more persistent dark spots on the skin. A topical anesthetic and local cooling are used during the administration of the peel. There is a one-week recovery from this deeper peel, which will leave your skin looking smooth and soft.

The initial consultation for the procedure can be done over FaceTime or Zoom so that when you arrive the procedure is done that day and you do not need to return after the procedure.
