Skin care
In a sunny, beautiful place like Florida, it is hard to avoid the harmful effects of the sun. Even the most diligent sunscreen wearer can develop moles and freckles, or lumps and bumps that need to be investigated further. Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States. The delicate skin of the eyelids and face make this skin highly susceptible to the effects of solar radiation. Mostly this affects the senior population, but Dr. Padilla has seen skin cancer in patients in their late twenties, and the key to successful treatment is early detection.
Dr. Padilla values his Dermatology Colleagues and recommends to everyone that they get at least a yearly skin screening from a Dermatologist.

Dr. Padilla has many family members who have been affected by skin cancer and skin cancer reconstruction is one of his primary focuses because he can use his artistic background and anatomical knowledge to reach the most natural appearance.
